As you can see the world experimented lots of changesduring these years.

The first and one of the most important things, is the independence of spanish, portuguese and english colonies in America, and their territorial expansion, like the U.S.A. that declared war on Mexico to gain some territories in the west of the actual United States.

You can also apreciate that the world is not ruled by Spain and Portugal anymore, but by France and England.

If you look more in depth in Europe you can see that Spain has lost oalmost all of it´s territories in the old continent, and that four new countries have been formed : Germany, Italy, Holand and Grece.The Ottoman Empire has been reduced to almost the modern Turkey, Egypt has also become independent from it.

If some countries loose territorries others have to win them right?

In the second map Poland has dissapeared completedly and Russia has expanded a lot in Europe an Asia, it even reaches Alaska. Even though England has lost the North American colonies, it conquers Australia, almost all India, parts of Indonesia and South Africa.
